I try to be a courteous bicycle rider so I prefer a bell instead of having to yell “on your left” when riding on shared trails.
Some of the road bike drop bars are not round so it is hard to place a bell on the handlebars. I recreated a headset spacer for my bicycle (trek Madone) with some room for a small bell.
I got the Knog Oi Prima bell, but their previous models (Oi Classic and Oi luxe) should fit as well. Just make sure you buy the small 22.2 version.
If you print the model in 1 color, you might have to use a sharp knife to remove support leftover on the right part of the spacer in order to make the spacer stack snug on your original spacers. I printed my example with a layer of PETG between the supports and the model for easier removal.
Use this spacer at your own risk, I don’t know much about printer settings so I can’t advise on how to make the strongest print. More experienced makers, feel free to elaborate, or point me in the right direction.
